Terms of Service, Client Agreement & Liability Waiver

Welcome to Purity Home Cleaning (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By booking or using our services, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service, Client Agreement, and Liability Waiver.


1. Services

We provide residential cleaning services based on:

- Client requests
- Property condition
- Time allocated

The final scope of work may be adjusted if actual conditions differ from the initial description. Additional services may result in extra charges.


2. Booking & Payment

- All bookings must be confirmed in advance
- Prices are estimates and may vary depending on actual conditions
- Payment is due immediately after service unless otherwise agreed
- Accepted payment methods: [e-transfer / cash / other]

Late payments may result in additional fees or refusal of future services.


3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

- Minimum 24 hours notice is required
- Late cancellations may be charged up to 50% of service cost
- Same-day cancellations or no access may result in full or partial charge


4. Access to Property

The Client must ensure:

- Access to the property at the scheduled time
- Availability of water and electricity

Failure to provide access may result in cancellation fees.


5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

- Provide accurate information about the property
- Secure or remove valuables and fragile items
- Inform us about any risks (pets, mold, damage, unsafe conditions)

We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed risks.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the service:

- Notify us within 24 hours
- We will return to re-clean the affected area

Refunds are not provided without giving us the opportunity to correct the issue.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Canadian law:

- We are not liable for pre-existing damage
- We are not responsible for normal wear and tear
- We are not responsible for undisclosed fragile or valuable items

Our total liability is limited to the value of the cleaning service provided.


8. Damage Policy

- Any damage must be reported within 24 hours
- Photo evidence may be required
- We reserve the right to repair instead of compensate

Claims made after 24 hours may not be accepted.


9. Breakage Disclaimer

Cleaning involves contact with surfaces and items.

We are not liable for damage to:

- Fragile, unstable, or improperly installed items
- Items that are worn, aged, or weakened


10. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:

- The environment is unsafe
- Biohazards are present
- There is a risk to staff safety


11. Pets

- Pets must be secured or properly controlled
- We are not responsible for pet-related incidents


12. Photos & Marketing

We may take before/after photos:

- For quality control or marketing purposes
- Without revealing personal or identifying information without consent


13. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).


14. Dispute Resolution

- We aim to resolve all issues amicably
- If unresolved, disputes are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada


15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
